Air Jordan 5 Red Suede Your summer will be shining bright with this latest version of the Air Jordan 5 as it’s dropping soon in a Red Suede theme. An opposite of the Blue Suede pair that is releasing in September, the sneaker is simply covered entirely in suede with 3M reflective accents placed on the tongue. Black accents are seen on the inner lining, shark teeth detailing on the midsole and Jumpman branding across its heel, while a translucent outsole completes the look altogether. Look for this colorway of the Air Jordan 5 at select Jordan Brand stores and online on July 1 for a retail price tag of $190.
Jordan Brand has already released a few retro Air Jordans in honor of the Birmingham Barons, the Chicago White Sox's Double-A affiliate that Michael Jordan played for during his brief stint away from basketball, but they're not done honoring MJ's love of baseball yet. Leaked images of two brand new Air Jordan 9s have surfaced, each of which features a premium leather build and stitching inspired by a baseball glove. There's a brown glove colorway that features a #35 on the heel, referencing the number Jordan wore with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League in 1994. Additionally, there's a similarly built "Barons" black pair that has the more familiar #45 on the heel. Details regarding the "Baseball Glove" 9s have not been announced but rumors suggest the "Baseball Glove" 9s will be very limited.
